TWM Video Response

You know, people always read books where characters die. It's never suprising anymore, there's no longer any shock value because it's done all the time. But it's so much more personal, whether you know them or not, when it's a real person.

To actually see him and hear what he has to say is different from anything I've ever seen or read. This interview isn't some made for TV movie that's being recreated by actors, it's really Morrie. It's Morrie saying what he we always say, not just what someone put in a script to make them #1 in the box office.

    I, actually wrote a book, and I did not die by the time is was finished, hmm, maybe that's why i don't have a publisher. I think you're right about the genuine quality of the interview and the impact of it being a real person, saying real things can make on a situation like this. Number one best-selling book . . . yes. Box office . . . no.
